      I love monochromatic outfits, and I'm starting to notice more of them in magazines, and in other style bloggers photos. One of the great things about keeping the colour palette consistent is that you will look taller because it keeps the eye moving across the body without interruption.

     The top that I am wearing is one of my favourite things I have purchased for summer! I actually bought three of these Maxi tops in similar styles from Lulus in the last few months, and they definitely get worn the most out of everything in my closet. They can be worn with shorts, over a fitted dress or with pants, making this style versatile and easy to wear.  

     For those of you who don't love wearing shorts because showing off your legs or thighs makes you self conscious, these tops are the key to making use of all those shorts you have hidden in the back of your closet.
